6th grade Zumba - routine instructions!

Here are the dance moves! Enjoy!

6th grade Zumba routines

     "ICE ICE BABY..Vanilla Ice"

1.  Lunge and bend arms to R then to the L – spin around (2X)
2.  Repeat

3.  Scarecrow to the r (arms are R, L, R, R) then to the L (arms are L, R, L, L)
4.  Kick front , R, R, and down then L side
5.  Chicken wings – step, touch back, R/L  (4X)
6.  Running man R/L
7.  Body roll R/L

Repeat whole thing

"Janet Jackson – All for you"

1.  Walk forward with Attitude
2.  elbow bent L, R, L, L
3.  Walk back 4
4.  Elbow bent R, L, R, R
5.  Squat back Right lunge, arms out and in
6.  Forward with hips R /L
7.  3 step turn and clap
8.  Kick R, side, front, down
9. Repeat #5 and 6 to Left

10.  Slide R with bent arrow arm
11. scarecrow
12. reach up 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 R/L/R/R
13. elbow up and down cross while walking forward
14. slide to R, slide to L
15.  elbow up and down, cross while walking back
16. slide to L , slide to R


"Crocodile Rock …Elton John"

1.  Step R, arm in air then Left
2.  Pull across chest to R then to the L
3. Kick R Kick L
4. Elbow punch with hips
5. Box step to R (around)
6. Twist to R and L
7. Pony with hip bump repeat
8. Hands in air forward
9. Hands in air back
10. Step kick foreward and back
11. repeat 6-8
12. snake to right snake to left
13. pee wee
14. eyes and eyes
15. Repeat


"Prince – Lets go crazy"

1. Reach right angle left angle – step R
2. "grease" point R and L
3. shimmy
4. scoop snake body w/arms to R / L
5. walk to R shoulder shimmy, walk to L shoulder shimmy
6. Elevator out hands, criss cross, spin down
7. Oh no lets go – arms and up
8. walk back 4 with arm circles
9. 2 steps forward
10. shoulder up up and down down
11. repeat 7-9

do it all again!


"Gangam style…PSY"

1. Horse with reins 8
2. Horse with lasso 8
3. wash clothes to R – 2X
4. repeat to L
5. Kick Left legout w/left arm in air – switch to R
repeat
6. repeat #3- 5
7. walk 4 to R clap
8. kick 2 X w/right foot then L foot
9. walk 4 to L clap
10. kick 2X w/L foot then R foot
11. repeat from #3-10
12. step to R to the R lean 2X (arms in the C)
13. cross arms and left over R foot, R over left
14. stepout to the left – elbows bend then Hey
15. step R – elbows bend – Hey
16. repeat #12-15
17. circle hips to R..turn and touch with bent arms – go back the other way
18. monster feet and arms
19. cross arms to hips – after up and around
20. horse reins 8 horse lasso 8
21. hands on hips backwards and kick jump to R (heyyyyy …)
22. step R drag left foot lean
23. horse with reins
24. face left, hand on knee bounce 4X
25. circle R leg 2 times, then R leg whomp, whomp whomp …
26. step and arms bent across chest
27. wash clothes part again and repeat
28. horse with reins
29. wave R and clap, wave L and clap
30. step back R 2, L 2
31. 4 walk forward
32. repeat wave and walk
33. hey…..
34. chorus again
35. airplane with Leg pose!
