6th grade: Handball Tournament!

We are playing a short handball tournament right now - round robin format, so hopefully we will have time to play everyone. Wallyball is right around the corner! Fun times in PE!

We will begin our next units soon- after completing some fitness stations and fitness testing we will start our new units. Looking forward to a great 2nd half of the year!

8th Grade: Weight Room

We just completed our awesome weight room unit - we learned 26 machines in the "circuit" and how to use the Cardio equipment. The girls can now workout rotating through the circuit and on the cardio. It was a great unit and they seemed to enjoy it very much!

6th Grade: Floor Hockey Update

We are just wrapping up our Floor Hockey unit. We started with skills and drills, then played small games and then larger games. After we completed floor hockey we added scooter board hockey and Noodle hockey - both a very fun variation of floor hockey! We ended the unit with a short lesson on Cupstacking using speedstacks and even had a fun day where we rotated through all of the last few activities: Pickleball, Noodle Hockey, Jump Rope, and Speedstacks! Next up: Handball and Wallyball!
