7th grade Tennis - Last Day!

Today was our last day of tennis. We learned the athletic stance, the continental grip, the forehand, parts of the court (baseline, service line) and much more. We played games, were given challenges, and ended the unit with "Tennis Baseball!" It was a great unit, and now we move on to Team Handball (after a Fitness day).

6th grade Football Finale!

The 6th graders have mastered the game of football! We know new terms such as "line of scrimmage", quarterback, center, and receiver. We can "run a play" after a huddle and know we have 4 downs to score a touchdown! We are football players! Great job girls...you have made me proud! *Fun game next, followed by Fitness day, then Pickle Ball.

6th & 7th Fitness/Cardio Day!

Yippee Girls! You did a great job on your first cardio/fitness day! We did a workout entitled "Intro to the track" which was an explanation of the track, track etiquette, and an interval workout. It was very hot out there and you all did a great job! Keep up the good work!

7th grade - Tennis Fun!

The 7th grade girls have started their Tennis unit. We have learned the athletic stance, lateral and front/back movement as well as the "continental grip". We practiced volleying and playing mini tennis games. We are learning more and more each day. Hats and sunscreen would be great!

6th graders - Football Fever!!

The 6th grade classes have been learning football skills. We have covered throwing and catching and can even throw spirals! We have also captured how to hike the ball, go out for a pass, and move the line of scrimmage...Soon we will add the defense and play 4 on 4 games. The girls are having a blast...we have our touchdown dances down!
